Kitchen upgrades

Sell Fries upgrades: buy the machine, not the level

Upgrades split into two kinds: small tool levels that make a job faster, and machines that delete the job entirely. The machines are almost always the better buy, and five of them have a price confirmed by three independent sources. Everything else is per-level and unpriced in every source, so it is marked as such here instead of guessed.

No payback numbers on this page. No guide measures how many shifts an upgrade takes to pay for itself, and the honest answer is that it depends on your class, your team and how much of the pile you move. Any site quoting minutes-to-payback is estimating, not reporting.

Prices are in-game cash, not Robux. A dash means the guides describe the upgrade but never record a price — most upgrades scale per level, so a single number would be misleading.

Order

The sequence both recorded runs agree on

Ladder of the five priced Sell Fries upgrades from the 60 dollar conveyor to the 12,000 dollar fry shooter
The five machines with a confirmed price, cheapest first. Bar length is logarithmic so the small buys stay visible next to the fry shooter.
  1. 1Conveyor ($60) — the cheap first step of automation.
  2. 2Auto peeler ($500) — both recorded runs bought this before anything big.
  3. 3Potato robots ($1,000) — they come before the auto fryer in both recorded runs.
  4. 4Auto fryer ($6,000) — removes frying, so only hauling and serving are left.
  5. 5Fry shooter ($12,000) — bought right after the auto fryer in both runs.
  6. 6Extra helpers and the Golden Vacuum — last, once all four machines are running.

Skip

  • Peeler size past level 1: the $500 auto peeler replaces hand peeling entirely.
  • Bucket levels once you own a vacuum: the vacuum moves far more per trip.

Income

Early cars pay about $20 to $40. The opening cars pay roughly $20 to $40 in the sources we re-read; one walkthrough reports up to $60, so treat $40 as the start-of-run figure.

Items worth carrying

Money potion

Drink it before a big sale or before burning the pile for a better payout.

Cross

Saves you from one death. Worth carrying before the late nights.

Flamethrower

A shop item that burns through the potato pile fast; each burned pile still pays out as cash.

Cola

A starting item on several classes; exact effect not stated by the guides we could verify.

The shop across the street restocks by day and some of its stock is worth the trip. Crossing the road is the risk: getting hit by a car ends the run.

Pass

The one Robux purchase

Golden Vacuum

147 Robux

A permanent vacuum that holds far more potatoes, levels further and stays with you across runs.

Worth it only if you play run after run: it is permanent and moves the pile fastest, but you can escape without it. The price appears in a single guide, so treat it as approximate until you see the card in game.

Open questions

What is still unverified

  • Only five upgrades have a price confirmed by two independent guides; the rest are priced per level and were not recorded, so no number is published.
  • Robot boost and the extra-helper price come from a single guide.
